We develop each piece with you in Pushkar.
Once you approve, your sample becomes
the reference for production.

Before we begin, we are clear about what happens in the atelier and what needs to happen outside it.
Patterning, sampling, cutting, stitching, checking and packing happen at Kanha Mitraa Atelier, in Pushkar.
Sourcing, printing, dyeing, ironing and shipping are coordinated through partners we already work with in Pushkar, Jaipur and Delhi.
You know who does what before you approve.
A pattern that works in one fabric will not always
behave the same way in another. We look at the
fabric, construction and quantities together,
then develop and revise the sample until the piece is approved.
How many rounds of changes are included is agreed before we start.
Production starts from there.
The first stitched piece is checked against the approved sample before the run continues. We check again as production moves, then review every finished garment before packing, including measurements, labels, finishing and loose threads.
The aim is simple: what you approve is what we work from, all the way through the run.
Most of our work to date has been womenswear, but we are not limited to it. We work with cotton, silk, rayon, lycra and embroidered fabrics.
The piece, fabric, quantities, colors and sizes all affect how
the production needs to be approached,
so every project is
assessed individually.
Once the fabric is in the atelier, a first sample takes about a day.
Production for a simple run of 200 pieces takes around a week; larger or more complex runs, with more sizes, colors or fabrics, take longer.
We give you the timing for your piece before you approve.

Send us a sketch, tech pack, reference photo or an existing sample. We’ll look at it and tell you what it would take to make it here.
